3. Subeditor Sports – ONE POST

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

- Check and correct editorial copy allocated by sports editor for facts accuracy taste house style language use clarity details objectivity spellings etc.

- Rewrite the copy as necessary for simplicity clarity style etc.

- Edit pictures selects by sports editor to fit allocated space and writes/rewrites appropriate captions taking care not to merely state the obvious details

EXPERIENCE

- At least 4 years experience at journalism part of which as sub editor

- Degree in journalism

- Mastery of English and Swahili grammar
